Natural chocolate
One of the main factors of chocolate quality is a short list of ingredients that does not contain cocoa powder. In Belgian chocolate, which Wander works with, there is no cocoa powder, only selected grated cocoa and the best cocoa butter.
Types and varieties of chocolate
If the chocolate contains more than 55% cocoa, it is dark, or, as they say, bitter chocolate. If there is less cocoa, it is milk chocolate. White chocolate contains only cocoa butter, there is no cocoa in it. Wander has dark and white chocolate without sugar in Dark Malt and White Malt bars.
Dark chocolate
Our darkest variety is terroir Uganda 80%. We believe that a product with a higher percentage of cocoa is already too much. A lot does not mean tasty. For example, our selected Dark Supreme variety, from which one of the WanderBeans collection bars is created, contains 71.5% cocoa and has a harmonious intense taste and aroma.
White chocolate
White chocolate has a very delicate creamy taste, so we often use it for fillings to emphasize the bright character of the main ingredient. It also finds its admirers in the form of chocolate bars. It sounds especially good in chocolate bars with filling.
Milk chocolate
The lightest of the milk varieties in Wander is the delicate Costa Rica 38.5%. If you think that only dark varieties can be healthy, it is not so. Milk is also healthy, it just has less "active ingredient". We are happy to use milk and its very tasty variety - caramel.
The shape matters
Whether it is candies or bars, we always play with the shape, because sweets also "fit the clothes". Creative design is very important for us. The shape must match the high quality of our handmade products. We always experiment and often hear: wow, how beautiful, it's a pity to eat!
